Arrowheads

Jed Shepler of Houston, Texas found lots of beautiful old glass in various archaeological digs, and knapped these splendid arrowheads. I think this is definitely one of the most wonderful things I have ever received in the mail.

Jed, thank you!

  1. Hey You! The piece in the upper pic right is obsidian from a natural source (Pacific NW, USA). The fiber optic green (lower pic, upper left) is upcycled fiber optic waster glass. The lower pic lower right (Thunderbird) is Russian stained glass. Otherwise, I think, if my failing memory serves, these are all sourced from discarded stuff. No archaeologically sensitive sites were hurt in the process of making these points. One person's trash is. . .another person's trash too, until I come along. J.K. Shepler, Herston Tejas
